Is it possible to have a splash page in webflow?

I’ve done a search but all of the links are broken.

Can someone tell me if it is possible to have an intro/splash page in Webflow? Would it just be a matter of creating the page and setting it to home instead of index?

My client is looking for something similar to this (https://splash.kamalaharris.org/) with a continue to site button. Also to be clear…my question isn’t about if the site can be designed…but more about whether the home url can be splash.example.com and then clicking the button goes to example.com.

I can see 3 options:

  1. Create a new project and give that a CNAME and add a basic hosting subscription to that project

  2. Set a new homepage to the main site as that splash page

  3. Do a domain name forwarding setting with your domain name registrar to point that domain name to a subpage of your project

I understand options 2 & 3 but not completely following option 1.

Can you explain with an example?
