Integrating Algolia to Website

With Switype quietly removing their $19 plan and your only option being the $249 outrageous plan, for those of us requiring hosted search solutions we’re left with Algolia. Well, at least that’s the only one that came to mind.

But how does one go about getting Algolia to work with Webflow?

I would also like to know this. Anyone out there?

I tried Algolia and found it to be insanely complicated. Also, you need to export your database and import it for them to index it. That’s not happening with Webflow.

I tried out Google custom search and found that it works pretty well. Here’s a tutorial I put together.

Man, why haven’t I thought of using Google’s? Thanks for reminding. Great tutorial!
