Imported SVGs are blank

Very new to Webflow and probably missing something glaringly obvious, but when I try to add an SVG logo to my page the SVG never appears in the designer UNLESS I tick HiDPI (then it appears) or, add a class and set a dimension manually (as opposed to automatically). To explain, setting a logo in a nav bar: I drag a nav bar to my page, drag an image to the ‘brand’ box, upload an SVG and nothing appears unless I click the HiDPI box.

Can someone make me look stupid and let me know where I’ve gone wrong please?!
