Import PDF files into CMS from CSV

Hey everyone,

I recently did an export of a Webflow project with ~1000 items (including PDF attachments) and planned to upload it into a new project…however it appears that the file format is incompatable with the file field to map to.

Is there a way around this? This seems like it’s not right. Is there a way in excel to maybe strip the “https://” or some other part of the file name to enable correct formatting? The current formatting is coming directly from a Webflow export.

File field — currently you cannot map any columns to the file field. You can manually upload your files once you import all your data.

Sometimes I feel I’m almost too skilled at Webflow to look back at the Unversity but this just proved me wrong! Thanks for the help.

It’s been 4 years since someone faced this issue. Is it fixed? I did however found a paid tool that does this well but I was curious
