I can't open the Burger Menu to edit it but I can open it in Preview

The burger menu in mobile device is opening on “drop down” mode and i want it to be on “over right” mode, but I can’t edit it in the designer (it simply doesn’t open or change anything in the NavBar Settings).

How could you help me ?

Hello Nicolas,

I took a look at your project and I think the problem is from the menu panel having a setting of absolute.

  • Go to your tablet view (since this is where the hamburger menu becomes visible).

  • Go to your “Nav Bar v3” and click down to “Nav Menu v3”

  • On the right panel change the position from absolute to static or relative

  • Now click back on “Nav Bar v3” and click on the cogwheel on the top of the right panel

  • Go down to “Navbar settings” and you can now change your menu type from “drop-down” to “over right”

  • You’ll probably want to do a bit of formatting from here but I think this gets you back on the right track.

  • Let me know if you’re still having problems and I’ll take another look.
