How to edit the current state of a navlink in a dynamic-generated nav menu?
When I inspect the code, I see how webflow added the “w–current” class to the “a” tag. But the designer doesn’t show the Current class when on the current navigation link.
You have to either be on the page that this link links to, or scroll down to a section the link uses and anchor (ID) to point to.
Now, sometimes it’s a bit tricky, so I have an advice.
Make your menu a symbol, and instead of fighting to get the current class to appear, move your menu to a blank page, and edit the links to that page, so you easily get your current status. Style it and than put the links back how they should be.
Thank you very much @vincent! Following your advice, I was able to bring in the current status to the designer and apply “current state” styles to the dynamically generated menu links.
