How to add extra fees to checkout (e.g. bottle deposit cost for wine)

Does anyone know if it is possible to add an extra fee to individual products that gets added at the checkout page?

I am working on an e-commerce site for a client that sells wine online, and by law it is required to show the $0.20 deposit fee per bottle at checkout. Is this possible? Does anyone know a way to work around this? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

No, unfortunately not. What I did as a work around was add the bottle deposit price to the full price of each product and add a note beneath the order summary in the checkout to let the user know that $0.20 / bottle is included in the total price.

Kind of annoying but it’ll have to do for now.
