Hello Im new and need help

Hi. I am new to Webflow. I also created a Make account, because I want to use Webflow + Make to create an automation where my Webflow template’s dummy blog posts will get replaced with blog posts from a different website (aggregation). I do not have any interest in Pabbly or Zapier, etc. - I like the way Webflow works with Make.

I have watched many YT videos about this idea, but none are working. Can someone kindly walk me through the process of exactly what I need to do to make it work properly? Or, if you can find a video that I was not able to find, please post it.

I have been trying to do this for 2 weeks, to no avail. So, any help is greatly appreciated.

PS - If I did not post in the correct category, my apologies. It made sense to post here because I am needing help with an integration.

Hi Aunt,

First try using the built-in Webflow actions in Make. That will be easiest and best documented.

However it’s been awhile since I’ve needed to do that form of integration and the last time I used it some of the Make actions had not been migrated to Webflow’s v2 API.

If that’s still the case you’d have to do direct API calls from Make, using manually-generated API keys. It can be done but it’s slightly complex, cumbersome, and poorly documented,

On the upside, you’d learn a lot about how the API calls powering the integration actually work.

If you’re looking to hire out to do this piece, I do this type of integration work professionally. Let me know if you want to discuss that. Otherwise, it’s just about going deeper, learning the tools, digging through the forums. Welcome to the world of integrations

Well, that is not the reply I was looking for. The whole point of using Make is so I do NOT have to use API keys. But thanks for taking the time. I can’t afford hiring anyone, otherwise I would have done that very first thing. I’m set on using Make and Webflow together, so will keep looking for a way, or maybe try a different web builder that makes things simpler to do what I am trying to do.

Then if you’re having problems your best bet is to contact Make support and find out where their Webflow integration is at. They won’t improve it unless they know users are having issues or find it incomplete.
