Height not affect other contents in animation

Im trying to create a hover dropdown menu in the page called Untitled in my site. Is there a way
to change the height of the dropdown content with out affecting the drop triggers place in the animation. In essence I need the the dropdown content to dropdown with out pushing up the dropdown trigger when its height is animated.
