Hamburger menu on iPhone 16Pro (iOS 18.3.2) not working

Can anyone help please? The Hamburger menu when viewing our site on an iPhone 16Pro running iOS 18.3.1 and 18.3.2 is inactive, it does not click and reveal the menu items. I have tested on Chrome, Firefox and Safari. It works fine on Browser Stack etc. and also on an iPhone SE running the same iOS.

There seem to be many posts like mine, but no fixes that I have seen.

TIA

Hi there,

The Navbar menu button automatically handles mobile menu functionality in Webflow. Here’s how to ensure it’s working correctly:

The menu button should expand your navigation menu when clicked and collapse it when clicked again on mobile devices. To verify your settings:

  1. Select the Navbar element in the Designer
  2. Open the Settings panel
  3. Navigate to Navbar Settings
  4. Check that the menu button is set to display on mobile devices
  5. Ensure your navigation links are properly set to show in the mobile menu

If the menu isn’t functioning as expected, verify that no custom interactions or animations are interfering with the default behavior.

Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.

As I understand it, browserstack uses actual devices which mean it’s likely something specific to your phone or network. My guess would be the router, VPN or antivirus.

Try disconnecting / connecting your phone from wifi first, see if it makes a difference.

If not, look for any VPN or a/v to disable.

It’s likely that the jQuery lib is getting blocked, which would break menus, tabs, interactions…

Since the hamburger menu works on other devices, it might be a specific issue with the iPhone 16 Pro. Check for any overlapping elements that could be blocking the menu and try adjusting the z-index. Also, make sure there are no JavaScript errors in the console that might affect functionality. I have the exact same issue for iPhone 15 Pro. I tried and checked already everything I found. I even recreated the whole navbar, changed the z-index, checked if anything is covering it.

Is there already any solution to this?
