Google Search Console showing 'product errors' why?

Hi

I have submitted to Google through Google Search Console, but it is showing an error

1 valid item with warnings detected

Valid items with warnings are eligible for Google Search’s rich results, but are missing additional information that can be displayed.

Then below this

Detected items- Sports Injury & Wellness Clinic Colchester - 7 warnings

Missing Image (optional)
MIssing Field (optional)
Missing Description (Optional)
Missing Field SKU (Optional)
Missing Field Brand (optional)
NO global identifier

I do not understand why, not because I don’t understand, but because I don’t have any products on my site.

All a bit strange.

Many thnaks in advance
Is this some rogue Webflow coding? What is the best way to clean it up? If of course, it is possible to clean up?

Here is my site Read-Only: LINK
(how to share your site Read-Only link)

Hi @wood1e I have the exact same issue.
In my case it turned out to be an external service. I use Elfsight’s All-in-One Reviews.

I don’t need a service I just need to know why it is there, and how to remove it.

Hold your horses @wood1e
The why I have answered, at least in my specific case.
Hence I threw the service out and got it removed.

Please provide a link, so we can check what is going on

This is the webiste: Webflow - Physio 2 Live

There is the Google Review embed, but that is not products. Maybe that is the problem

Seriously @wood1e :joy: :joy: :joy:
Read my first post again - you are using the exact same plugin - Elfsight.

Thanks I have asked my client for the login details. Hopefully we can clear it up. It may not be that big an issue.

Thanks for the help and pointers.

Hi guys!

We do understand that these warnings might worry you.
The thing is that we’ve changed the markup type to Product one in order to display your business’ rating (number of stars) in SERP. This is the simplest way to display them. However, this type causes warnings (recommendations) from Google tools to fill in the rest of the fields. We can assure you these warnings do not affect your website’s and plugins’ performance and position in SERP, so you are very welcome to keep using the app.

Also, you can always switch the markup in the plugin settings. To do it:

  • Go to Review tab and click on schema.org settings;
  • Switch it off.

If you have any other questions or concerns about Elfsight apps, don’t hesitate to contact us - we’ll be happy to help you with free assistance.

Best regards,

hi
So we can switch off? Does this mean that the review schema won’t be picked up?

Sorry confused, I am happy for a solution, but not one that removes the schema ie it removes the review stars etc?

Hi!
If you switch it off, it will remove star rating from the snippet. If you need a star rating, don’t switch it off and don’t pay attention to recommendations from Google tools to fill in the rest of the fields - these warnings do not affect your website’s and plugins’ performance.

If you need more detailed information and free assistance with the plugin settings, contact our Support Team - they’ll be delighted to check the app and fix the issues.

Regards,
Elfsight Team

Hello, thanks for your answer.
Could’nt you allow us to add these fields manualy during the creation of the widget in order to solve these warnings?
Thanks again.
