Freelancer Fell Through - Looking for Replacement

This was posted on Codemap.io earlier. Just looking for some help here as well

We were using a freelancer from Webflow forum which was going great. Suddenly he stopped responding, his email from invoicing software gets returned as not deliverable and we need to get the site done.

The main issue right now:

We need to be able to create main navigation links that target a specific tab on a page.

The tab section is something our he built to suit our design goals.

That’s why I always say that even freelance workers should be subject to “office conditions.” I hope you solve your problem soon, but for now, I hope you’ve learned a thing or two; you need better control over your remote employee. For example, I have daily calls with my staff on https:/zoom.us/. I use https:/www.worktime.com/employee-monitoring and https:/www.atlassian.com/software/jira to track their productivity. It really helps avoid situations like this, trust me.

Always choose a freelancer after checking his past performance.
It would be best if you asked about the freelancer from the companies mentioned in their portfolio.
Also, offer salary as per the market rate so that no one leaves your company.
