Favicon is in 404 error on GSC (favicon.ico)

Hello all !
I updated my own favicon on our website, and the search console keeps showing me a 404 error in the reports…
Can you help me with that? He crawls the “www.mysite.com/favicon.ico” and shows a 404.

It’s not a problem, favicon.ico is just a commonly-used icon path that Google check to see if it can locate an icon there. Webflow doesn’t use ICOs ( they are a bit of a pain to create for many new designers ), and uses METAs with static images instead.

You don’t need both.
