I’m trying to upload a .gif for my favicon, however it doesn’t seem to be working. Does anybody have any idea what is wrong? The size (32px) is correct and the file has uploaded to the Webflow Project Settings - General tab. I can even see the gif working in the Project Settings - General tab. But it’s not working in my browser.
It’s supposed to work like this site. Anyone?
I’m pretty sure only Firefox will show your animated favicon. Other browsers need javascript for that. The example page you’re giving a link to has a noral PNG declared as favicon, and probably overrides it it with JS
I’ll look into another way then. I think I saw another post on the forum where a JS override was used. Thanks @vincent !
