I am using Semrush and it shows urls leading to the same content page having just the difference of random strings in the url.
This is commonly due to pagination. Something that your tool does not take into account fully. Since you gave no examples that is the best I can offer.
Paginated pages. Google has recommendations in search central you can follow. I don’t bother with them myself since google bot understands pagination.
Okay. Thanks, but I have 10 pages with same content and different URLs.
Did you ever solve this? I’m now facing it
Did anyone find a solution for this? I am having the same issue but on a mass scale. Hundreds of additional pages are being created and reported in Semrush.
Google Search Console is marking them as this:
Duplicate without user-selected canonical
These pages aren’t indexed or served on Google
Link examples:
These are all the same page with no content change, they do not exist in our Webflow site map or in webflow as an actual page.
Those urls are Webflow’s paginated page URLs.
You need to set your site-wide canonical, which should be-
https://www.truevana.com
Then it will have a user-selected canonical on all of those pages.
