Dropdown background colour stays grey

hey guys

I have read a number of posts about how to change the default background colour of a dropdown, and no matter what I try, its still grey. See the two dropdowns on my nav under ‘show homes’ and ‘contact’ I want the dark gray background to be transparent.

I have tried setting it to a colour, and then to 0% opacity, and tried all levels of objects.

any ideas?

You should not set image/gradient. The field below it clearly will change the default background color (which is currently gray “#ddd”)
