My website has been unpublished due to late payment. Although I dare to dispute if this was a reasonable action to execute, my question now that I paid is;
Does anyone know if Webflow will restore the DNS after payment has been completed?
Custom domain settings that can be restored?
I just entered the designer and it looks fully wiped. This would mean adding custom domains and all DNS related attachments and validations, wiping out 2 days of income from the website > we just launched.
This is not just one incident but it seems the company culture has shifted to full @#$* mode. This feels as one of the last drops in the bucket, asking in the community if anyone has a positive experience to sway my thoughts right now…
You will have to re-establish a new site plan.
In the past this was somewhat of a pain- re-add the domain, re-add the 301’s, etc. Basically anything tied directly to the site plan had to be re-defined-

It’s a bit more complex now with add-ons like Localization, I’m not sure what happens there. To my knowledge the data is preserved but you’d need to re-add the locales as add-ons to access it.
Hey @Thomasmakingwebsites — Joshua here from the Webflow Support Team. Sorry to hear about this experience, and I can assure you it’s not our intent for the user experience to have this type of friction. We’re hoping to improve some of these billing experiences, and I would be happy to take a look at your ticket number to see exactly the events that transpired. Would you be able to DM me your ticket number and we can take it from there?
Webflow should restore your site after payment, but DNS settings might need to be reconfigured manually. Try checking your domain settings in the dashboard and reaching out to support, they might be able to help faster.
