Hi Webflow community! Hope you are having a great day… I have a few issues in Webflow that I’m trying to solve but haven’t succeeded no matter how many codes I’ve changed or tutorials I’ve followed.

  1. Disable scrolling navbar: I want the page to stop scrolling when the menu is open and I scroll on the page. I’ve tried custom code, I’ve tried attributes, and still can’t get it right. What should I do?
  2. Loop Text in footer: I am still a beginner in this section and trying to learn why I don’t have a constant loop in the footer text with “Let’s discuss ideas”? I’ve tried different methods here too, managed to make it work partially on the home page, but on the rest of the pages and on any device version it still doesn’t work.

I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance from the community that actually works. Thank you for taking the time to read this message and I hope we hear from each other soon!

For the first point:
This cannot be done when your navigation is a component because access is only possible for the elements inside the component.
However, if the navigation is not a component, you can specify that when the menu is open, the body of the site has a height of 100vh, so it doesn’t scroll, and when the menu is closed, the body height changes to auto.
This is one of the ideas that came to my mind.”

Hello Zafremedia! Thank you for your response. I followed the video you sent and partially succeeded. I redid it multiple times to make sure it works well. Now I have followed all the instructions in the video, but the loop is running very slowly, and I don’t know why.
