I am currently building a finance blog and I am struggling with its CMS architecture. I have encountered this website that has been done in Webflow aswell and the blog is exactly what I want to achieve.
The blog structure is complex, it has categories, subcategories etc… the URL is also customized when we dive deeper in the blog. How can we achieve this complexity ? Is it about folders, or references ?
The site was designed in Webflow, but they’re using a custom build and hosting setup. Either it has been exported and rebuilt with a separate CMS, or it is heavily reverse proxied. You can see the IP address are not WF hosting IPs.
If you are trying to do something similar on WF hosting, and you want deep paths like this;
https://finary.com/fr/blog/epargne/plans
You’re limited to either what you can do with folders, static pages and collection pages, or you can use a reverse proxy to rewrite paths.
I happen to have a solution framework for building that for complex client projects, however if your site is highly dynamic with a lot of CMS activity it can be challenging to design and maintain your path map between your designed public-facing paths and your actual internal WF-hosted paths.
Hey thanks for the reply
The agency is Gemeos agency, and in their case study page they sais they used webflow + finsweet to make this website, but I guess they also used Wized, they have Firebase natively and can work on URL
And I guess such deep hierarchy showed in the URL has no effect to the SEO ?
According to google search control, only precise keywords matter
