I would like to learn more about DPAs and who/when needs to sign them. If I am building a website for somebody do I need a DPA? Is it the same building a website with Wordpress?
What’s the purpose of a DPA? Is there anything else I should know/sign to stay GDPR compliant?

GDPR is a huge topic, and you having to sign any documentation depends of what your role you’ll play and the levels of access you get to your customers data.
In France the CNIL published a great guide (also available in English) to help out with this, it’s quick to read and will give you the key infos. Check it out here.
