Custom URL redirecting to www.www.customurl.com

I had a GoDaddy tech support guy walk through the Webflow instructions for getting my GoDaddy domain name on my webflow site.

Unfortunately, any time I type in the url (howtobabysit.net in Chrome), it auto redirects to www.www.howtobabysit.net and I get this happy message:

I think we may have only adjusted the settings for howtobabysit.net (and not www.howtobabysit.net), but I’d like to figure out what I did wrong the first time around before repeating the error on the second URL.

Help?!

Check where you added the extra www. maybe is where you set up your default domain name in webflow

You’ve updated the DNS for howtobabysit.net correctly - so when you go to that domain, it will redirect to www.howtobabysit.net.

However you have www.howtobabysit.net set as a CNAME to howtobabysit.net, so then it redirects again to www.www.howtobabysit.net

Using the correct DNS records for www.howtobabysit.net should fix things.
