Compress images to .avif in Rich text fields

I have added several images to a rich text field within a CMS. The problem is that each image is over 2-3 MB, totalling a little over 30 MB.

I want to compress them to .avif or .webp, but Webflow can’t find an option for this. The ‘Compress assets’ option in the CMS panel ‘More’ menu compresses only image assets that have a dedicated field in the CMS.

I was hoping for a way to compress assets within a rich text field. It is at all possible?

The ‘Compress assets’ option in the CMS panel ‘More’ menu compresses only image assets that have a dedicated field in the CMS.

It compresses assets in richtext elements as well.
