Collection Page Visibility and multiple layouts with one page

Hi everyone. First time posting here. Been using Webflow off and on for a few years now but still sort of a beginner in some ways.

Here’s my situation:
I have conditional visibility set in the CMS collection page with a drop-down for 4 different options. I have only two variations, and the other options are not in use - yet.

On my CMS collections page, I have made one div and nested most of the site in this div.
I have all collection items set to their specific layout via the drop-down
I have changed the conditional visibility for each page in the settings panel

The problem
Here is the problem: I can only have one layout visible when I go from one collection item to the other. What ends up happening when I go between collections items is that the editor is blank. No layout or design is showing other than the main nav and footer.
What am I doing wrong here?

Hi Mike, it’s not clear what you’re trying to do, seeing your design view would help.
