Collection List displaying all items in the Collection

Issue: A page is not displaying the selected items using a Multi-reference field from a collection.

I have a CMS collection that contains 20 items. In the pages where I have added the Collection List, it displays all the items in the collection although in the CMS using a Multi-reference field I am only selecting 5 of them.

Any ideas what could be the problem?
