City Directory with Categories

following the tutorial -
Collection CMS page - cities
Collection source - Experiences
Filter - Experience Category = Restaurants
Experience = Cities is current cities

it is referencing Cat restaurants but not filter for the specific city
continues to show restaurants for all cities

I have the image in the slider with a link box is set to cms page categories which where i believe the problem lies
