Changed behavior of perspective(0) in Chrome 93

Hi.

I’m an engineer working on support for CSS 3D transforms in Chrome. Chrome 93 shipped a change to the behavior of perspective(0), and this led to a bug report that some sites created using WebFlow may have been broken by the change. For more details about the change, see this post and the change’s description.

I’m interested in getting in touch with someone who works on WebFlow to understand both (a) how serious this problem is for WebFlow-generated sites and (b) what could be done on the WebFlow side to fix it.

Hey David, I am Dustan, engineering manager of our Platform teams at Webflow. I’ll read those reference links you posted and will send you an email to follow-up.

Hi @dbaron, I hope you are doing well, just an update on the 3D perspective bug, a patch update has been made.

To have the change enabled on the project, open the site in the designer and then republish the site.

It will be necessary to open the site in the designer for the patch to be applied, if you just publish from the dashboard the fix will not be applied, so open in the designer, then publish.

Let me know in case of any further trouble with that.
