Card Overlapping - Goes under the section

I’m trying to make the “our story” card overlap on TOP of the slider, however when I apply absolute position to the card and move it upwards, it goes directly under the section with the slider

Why is this happening?

(I check if there was overflow cropping, but there’s none). Any help is appreciated!

Solved, the z-index. I totally forgot about it.
