Can't Put Site on Google Business Profile

Hi there!

I’m a graphic designer with a moderate to low level of HTML and CSS knowledge and I’ve designed this site for my wife’s business and for some reason when placing it into the google business profile it gets denied listing it as 3rd party, after speaking to google on the phone callback system they cant really do anything other than say “3rd party” is the reason and wouldnt even specify that webflow is the reason and I asked if it had been the reason and they clearly jumped on that as the potential solution as they didnt have an answer before and ive seen and heard before that webflow sites are used on business profiles all the time.

Ive done the whole process of creating the sitemap and registering the domain and all on google search console and all under the same account that Im adding to the business profile. We’re kind of at a loss any help would be appreciated :slight_smile:

Who owned the domain before you?

Setup Google Search Console first, so that you can prove ownership of the domain, and use the same email / Google account to create the Google Business Profile.

Perfect, if you’ve identified your account as owner of the domain and owner of the Google business listing, you shouldn’t have any problems adding the site. I’ve setup 100’s, all against Webflow sites.
