Can't Delete CMS Items

Hello Everyone,

I have tried to delete my CMS items as I want to go with a basic Plan and i just can’t delete them.

Getting the following error below:

could not delete

Any help?

Hi Alexis,

Often this is because a CMS item is a reference field and used in another CMS item. You will need to first remove that reference from the other CMS item, then you can delete your item.

You can check the connection by going into your item settings, then click on “Delete” at the bottom, this will give you the detail of the existing connections.

Hello Sylvie,

Thanks for your input.

I have deleted any connections and i still get this error.

I’m trying to delete the last two remaining CMS items and the error does not mention any related connections it just says “we couldn’t delete this items”

This is now solved, was able to remove my connections in CMS items.

Hi Alexis, I think what Sylvie is suggesting is refs, not connections.
Refs are between collections, Connections are between the collection and the page.

You could try deleting all Ref and Multiref columns in every collection, then you’d have no dependencies and should be able to delete all of the items.
