Can't copy/paste Navbar Link within Nav Bar?

Hi, I am trying to add items to my site’s Nav Bar and having some issues. If you look at the Read-Only link preview, I have been able to update the Nav Bar items on the Homepage to the ideal configuration. (New collections have yet to be added so links are not yet operational.)

But when I try to update the Nav Bar on any interior page, I can’t copy/paste the Nav Bar links as I was able to do on the Homepage. It says “Nav Link can only be pasted in a Navbar.” But I’m in the Navbar?

This is probably related to the fact that I believe I have previously unlinked the navbar as a sort of workaround so that a page is the “Current” page when it is actually a “child” page. (I did this so that I could add the tennis ball image behind the Navbar item when on that page.)

Ultimately, all I want to do is copy/paste Navbar links, but can’t figure out how to do so.

Thanks in advance for any insight you might have.

Hi @Alex_Garinger,

I think the element you use as a Navbar in the inner pages is a simple div with the nav tag. If you replace it with a navbar element and give it the same classes you can copy paste again the navbar links.

Can I ask: why do you have so many navbars on the same page? (The ideal way would be to have only 1)

Thanks. I’ll try to figure out how to do that. I think it’s all related to my previous workaround so that the image appears behind the navbar item that’s currently active. Thus why each Collection has its own navbar? I dunno. Maybe I’ll just abandon that…

Thanks again.
