Building a new site and migrating the domain only?

I am about to work with a client which has a really strong google rank (top of first page).
Their current website is hosted somewhere and is full of unnecessary pages…

I was wondering - If I design a completely new website in webflow, and later connect that to their existing domain (Different pages, different URLs mostly), will their google rank be kept?
If it’s gonna take a hit for a few days then come back on top I am not worried, I am worried about them having to start fresh.

The one of the homepage, yes.

For all the other pages you’ll use 301 redirects and be just fine :slight_smile:
