Black Background / Black Text Highlight

Greetings,

I’m having an issue with my website.
The background of my webtemplate is black.
The text is white. But when I mouseover the white hyperlink text, it turns black.
Practically making the text invisible. How do I fix this??
I want to remove the animation altogether, or at least make it a lighter color.

I’ve uploaded screenshot example.
Also, if I did not add a shadow effect glow, the hyperlink text wouldn’t be visible at all.

I would recommend watching some of the university training videos on structural layouts and how to use sections properly.
