I’m a designer starting a small business and want to build my site with Webflow. There are a lot of options and I’m seeking advice on which one would be the most cost effective for a small business with a few products to sell.
I want to incorporate the ability to allow member logins, store credits, and gift exchange with store credits. Are these supported with webflow?
Do I need to purchase site plan and ecommerce plan?
If I purchaase ecommerce plan do I also need to purchase a workspace plan if I’m the sole designer developing the site?
If you’re building only one site, you’ll eventually need an ECom Site plan. Probably the “standard” ECom plan since you only have a few products.
During the building process, you could start the building with a free starter workspace and free starter site plan.
Then once you need more CMS items, or need more than 2 static pages, or hit another starter-plan limit, you can either add the “standard” ECom plan, OR-
If you still have a lot of dev work to do which will take a few months, you might upgrade your workspace plan instead, to Freelancer. That will give you all of the capabilities you need for the site development, up to the point you launch.
At launch, if this is your only site, you’d add the ECom standard plan, and cancel your workspace freelancer plan.
