Add Google digital asset links?

Hi - hoping the smart people here can help me install a Google Digital Asset Link on my site? Thanks!

I need to add text to this location:

domain/.well-known/assetlinks.json

On Webflow’s hosting, unfortunately you can’t add arbitrary files like JSON or scripts directly into your site as files. You’d either need to host your site externally, or setup a reverse proxy and host those specific files somewhere else.

Just for completeness on this, I’ve considered two possible hacks around this limitation-

Using a 301 redirect to an asset-hosted JSON
Creating a HTML page and the completely rewriting the content

Unfortunately in this case, neither will work.

Google says that redirects aren’t followed for this request, and that the HTTP header must identify the content type as application/json. These approaches will break there.
