Z index not working on safari

Hey guys
Having an issue with a custom nav bar
The slide out nav works fine on Chrome and appears on top of all other content
But on safari it disappears under the sections when scrolling down the page
Would really appreciate some help with this

Thanks for looking!!
Yeah I managed to sort out the problem now.
In Safari the div cannot be nested in a group with overflow hidden
ended up moving the menu div on to its own layer
