Hi, I tested out a website I made and so far everything works on mobile except when I get to the RSVP section in portrait mode. I tried changing the background image with a width of 470px and making the overflow visible in the body and every section but I still cant scroll down. I also published it just in case anyone needs to check it on their mobile device.
PS. Please excuse my convoluted naming of items, I’m relearning how to do web development so everything might be very confusing or messy.
Mobile scroll issues can be frustrating, particularly on iOS devices where Apple’s restrictions on browser scrolling can affect website performance. This commonly occurs when using lazy-loaded images, as browsers may struggle to calculate the correct page height.
To resolve these scroll issues, you have two effective solutions:
Change your image loading settings from Lazy: loads on scroll to Eager: loads with page. While this may slightly increase initial page load time, it ensures smooth scrolling behavior.
Place your images within fixed-height container elements. This helps the browser accurately calculate page dimensions before images load, preventing layout shifts during scrolling.
Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.
@kaye Preview Link is not working for me, it keep loading……, can you check is it correct link, also please share live website link and read only too. we can help you. ;)
Hi @ahmed_moeed, apologies for the late response! I tried what you suggested but it’s still the same :’( I still can’t get to the RSVP section. Moreover, there’s a tiny overflow as you can see at the right side of my screen. Do any of the assets I used have a hand in the overflow and blocking?
