Hamburger animation misbehaving

Hi there, I have a hamburger icon that turns into a cross, and back on second click. The problem is that if I clicked any of the menu items, which closes the menu, the cross remained a cross. So I put an interaction on the menu items to turn the cross back into a hamburger. This works, but now the animation doesn’t happen when I click the hamburger after I’ve used a menu item to close it, because it is not considered a 1st click. After that the hamburger/cross open/close is out of sync. Anyone …
