When I'm cloning websites animations are not working

Hi All,

I am very new to the world of Webflow and I was hoping someone can help with a repeated issue that I am having.

When I click to clone a website roughly 60% of the time the animations don’t work when I clone over the site. Just wondering if there is a step I am missing or if this is a common issue?

An example is this Scrolltrigger animation…

When I clone this into my workspace the animations simply don’t work. I have came across this issue a few times now.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If a Webflow build has custom JS implemented, those code/interactions will only be work/visible on live site not within the Webflow Preview. Only Webflow’s own interactions will be previewed within the Webflow preview or CSS animations will be visible. But custom JS will only work on live site.

This can also be seen they won’t work when viewing cloneable in Webflow.
