Hey everyone!
My name’s Bart and I’m a Senior QA at Webflow. Some of you might recognize me from the forums ever since Webflow was in closed beta. Started my journey with this amazing tool back in July 2013.
For the first few months I’ve been playing around with Webflow just to help people on the forums get through their projects and creative ideas. I used to post a lot (I mean it… a lot!) of JavaScript code that I was learning purely to help people on the forums. Within few months I was called JavaScript Ninja by some of you and somehow I managed to hold this title for quite a while
I was no expert about JS, definitely not. But I was an expert on Webflow and how to push it even further than what was possible at that time. I even once applied for the job as a Support Team member, but sent it too late - that day @cyberdave landed that position. Believe it or not, I was so stoked for him joining Webflow Team! He was a real viking on the forums helping people out and I knew he fits this position better than I would. Heck, he’s still doing amazing job at helping some of you in the personal inquiries!
(remember to insert glorious viking image here)
In the Christmas break of 2013 I jumped into freelancing with my first project and continued to do that (very successfully) for almost 2 years until I got an offer to join Webflow Team as a Quality Assurance. I was so happy Ever since September 2015 I am a part of this amazing team. I had a chance to watch fantastic people I knew from this very forum join the team to build the future of web development - building a bridge between designers and developers. Giving a tool for creative people to push their imagination onto code-less designed websites. We saw websites built in Webflow getting AWWWARDS
I couldn’t be more happy to be where I am right now. I’ve met amazing people so far and I see amazing people in the community. You, gals and guys, are what drives us towards building Webflow. You made all of that possible by your continuous support.
This community is freaking awesome
Thank you all for being here. I’m pleased to work with you!
Cheers,
Bart
