Website does not display the same as the Designer

When working on my site in the editor I am having issues with the position of the elements. Inside the editor, I think the numbers 01 are all the way to the right but they are not. How can I change this so I know what I am working on?

Hi @3raxton

We will need your ‘share’ link in order to troubleshoot - you can find it in project settings just above the tabs.

Is the plan to have the 01 appear the same distance/padding from the left edge even when the browser window changes size ?

Also just to clarify some Webflow terminology - the ‘Editor’ is a different part of the jigsaw - where clients can make changes without breaking site structure. The elements you are referring to are the ‘Designer’ where everything is made and styled, and the ‘Preview’ eye gives you an idea of how it should look published.

Completely forgot about that. Here it is.

That is my plan, yes. What is the best way to achieve that? Also, thank you for the change in title and information on the differences between the editor and designer.

Hi @3raxton

I put this together quickly - just one way of doing it.

I’ve gone for a 90vh top section and then a background image placeholder for the split black/white image on the 01 section. The 90vh means there is a small hint of black peeking through as per your idea. The 01 has some relative spacing left and top to always keep it that many px from the side.

There are other approaches, but hopefully this will help! :slightly_smiling_face:

You’re right; there are plenty of ways to make it. I will take a look at yours and alternatives. I appreciate the help!
