Vertically centred content in slider

This seems to have been an issue for some years - how to centre content in a slider where the amount of content varies;

The slider places the content at the top of the mask.

Any updates on how do do this so that the content automaticallly centres in the slider rather than leaving a gap at the bottom where there is less copy?
