I just had a problem with Login where a username is not excepted. Previously a login name/password was acceptable and now I need an email address instead of a username. When did this happen?
Now I’m locked out of a client’s website since this change. Very frustrating.
If support ever gets back to me, can I have one email account associated with different passwords? or workspaces?
Webflow account login has always required an email as the user name. Most logins do since this ensures you can get lost password reminders.
Webflow User Accounts, the memberships feature that is deprecating next year has also always required an email for login.
Webflow’s password-protected folders and pages use a password-only.
Those are the only logins I can think of.
Webflow’s Forum login here is based on Discourse and has discrete usernames, maybe you’re thinking of that?
Yes, your Webflow account can be associated with as many workspaces as you want. The most common setup when working with clients is that you have an Agency / Freelancer workspace as your primary workspace, and clients can then guest-invite you to their workspace.
Actually, it is not true that the login was always an email. My early accounts (from many years back) did not require an email. In fact I just had my problem fixed by the engineers reinstating my login name which is not an email.
