Hey, I’ve been trying to upload a background image since last night. I just can’t upload anything in the assets panel, it seems like this has happened here before, so I’m wondering if I’m the only one experiencing it.

Is the image oversize? 4MB is the limit.
Try Shift | Command \ S (Mac) to save your work. Close the browser, clear cache then give it a try.
Just thoughts! 
the image is an .svg with the size of 4kb, I really don’t think size is the issue here.
a few hours late, after refreshing a few times the issue resolved on its own. I guess it’s one of those things we’ll never understand haha !
