Hi guys,
we really need your help with the unsuccessful tracking of the gclid field on a Webflow form. Apparently, there seems to be no way to track gclid, despite following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bQ2Rp9Ucx0&ab_channel=WillStogdale
-
Added an HTML embedded block inside the form (I tested various positions, before/after the submit button) (Check here Google Documentation Set up offline conversion imports using Google Click ID (GCLID) - Google Ads Help )
-
I added the JavaScript snippet inside the custom code of the single page, testing both before the tag and inside the tag, and directly in the site setting section “custom code”.
-
Published the changes.

Tried adding the Gclid at the end of the website URL (website.example/?gclid=123456789). But nothing seems to work, the form submission still doesn’t record the Gclid.
Many others have had the same issue. Here’s the main blog thread discussing it: Pulling in GCLID text from AdWords into Webflow Forms
However, I found another blog thread where the problem seems to be solved by using Laravel, Salesforce, and Zapier (message from user miekwave): I must pass utms and GCLID into webflow forms - #2 by morganc84
we’re not sure how to proceed, could you magically lend us a hand and advise on what could be the solution?
Thank you very much
Louis
