I have 2 projects, A and B.
I exported CMS from project A into project B.
Now project B has all the blog posts and related information needed EXCEPT: Images that are embeded in the blog post text field.
The images in the blog post are displaying as placeholder and I cannot figure out why this is happening.
Hello sorry for the delay, it wouldn’t let me leave a reply. I did not manipulate the content before uploading (it was confusing to look at). I was under the impression the images in the articles (blog post text) were hosted on my webflow account and would be brought over. As you can imagine this would be very painful to bring over manually as we have over 100 articles.

You had another issue in addition. Your CSV was manipulated on your or someone’s computer after you exported the data from webflow. The image URL was changed in the CSV to a local file reference on a MAC. That had nothing to do with webflow.
I should add this for clarification; even if you fixed the local file references to valid URL references like they are on your original export from A, you still would get placeholder images in the uploaded CSV RT fields, because of the bug.
Nope. Download the CSV from A again and don’t try to edit it at all. Then you would be able to upload it to B, when the fix is in. I have no way to know if or when that is going to happen.

FYI: Webflow fixed a CSV import bug today. CSV importing contents with image tags into rich text fields are now importing correctly with no change to the image source.
