So I’m trying to get this text effect in webflow:

It should look like the text highlights were masking images down to the background with reduced opacity. I guess what you need is a copy of the background layer getting masked in the shapes/positions of the text highlights. But is there a way to dynamically resize/reposition these masks and link them to the text? Or any other way to achieve the effect?
This is just one of my ideas to increase readability. The thing is I really like how white semitransparent text overlays images, I’d like to keep this on the ones that aren’t too bright for the text. And on the bright images I’m looking for a solution that would be both subtle and effective.
