I’ve seen a few posts regarding this topic from a few years ago, yet I don’t think there was resolve for this.
I’ve noticed when editing symbols/components, there is a significant drop in performance and speed. Even when editing text, the characters lag seconds behind. I’ve had to unlink a lot of symbols to work in them to avoid slowness. Looking for input.
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing so much lag with your Symbols. Are you using a large number of these across your site? I haven’t noticed issues here and I’m on a similar spec’d (albeit older) Windows machine for reference.

Just as a note, this removes a lot of the benefit of Symbols as now you’re changes aren’t pushed to all other instances.
