Srcset CMS images - do responsive CMS images work?

Edit: I did a responsive image scan, but I am not sure it is working for cma images.

Having to correctly size images prior to adding to the CMS is a major pain for design and client ongoing management. Srcset resizing is still not a thing for CMS images.

Also client image management needs an upgrade: A client can’t:

  • Edit Alt text for newly added images
  • Select from existing images and edit alt text them

If anyone has some interesting work arounds for any of this stuff, please shout out.

Optily was an interesting workaround but they don’t seem to be in operation anymore due to native optimization - not sure if they mean the new WebP stuff in Webflow but that doesn’t work for CMS images - which is what I need.
