Sorting collection -low to high- doesn't seem to work

Hi,

The sorting function does’nt seem to work. I have a list of wines, per glass and per bottle. They should sort from low to high (price). First price per glass low to high, than price per bottle low to high. When i configure these filters the output is not sorting is the right way.

Any thoughts, or any other options?

Hi Dorus, you’ve stored your prices as text which means you’re sorting them alphabetically rather than numerically.

You need to change that to a numeric field, or have a numeric field in addition to your text field and use the numeric one for sorting.

Personally I’d only want one field containing the price, however you’d need to use a bit of Javascript to format your prices for the Netherlands.
