Is there a way to build a social media wall from different social media accounts? I see some third-party solutions but thought this might be able to be done in Webflow. Here is a good example from a college site but they are using a third-party solution. Thanks!
It looks like they are using Social Feed — Embed Social Media Feed widget on website [2022] . This would be the best solution for you, unless you want to go the route of creating a Webflow collection then using Zapier to pull in certain social media posts from certain accounts to push them into your collection.
You can easily add a social media wall in Webflow using Taggbox. Just create your wall in Taggbox, customize it, and then copy the embed code. In Webflow, add an Embed element on your page and paste the code—your social wall will display instantly. It works smoothly with all layouts and stays fully responsive. Webflow doesn’t have a native tool for pulling in multiple social media accounts and displaying them in a unified “social wall.” You can manually embed individual posts using each platform’s embed code, but that becomes difficult to maintain and won’t auto-update as new posts come in.
That’s why most Webflow sites with a social media wall rely on third-party tools. They handle the API connections, pull posts automatically, and give you a single embed code you can drop into a Webflow Embed element. This keeps everything updating in the background without you having to rebuild anything in the Designer.
If you prefer something ready-made, there are widgets that combine multiple platforms into one feed. One example is the Elfsight Social Feed widget, which can display posts from several networks at once and is easy to embed in Webflow with a small code snippet.
